Our recent post, “CCFT on the brink of bankruptcy?,” garnered 266 views in 11 hours.  This surpassed our last highest day, which had 232 hits.

Overall, this blog has had 3387 views since we began posting 10 months ago–in November 2012.

Faculty seem to be hungry for information.

From the latest EB minutes:

“There was reluctance by some EB members to drastically reduce stipends or release time because we need to be able to attract members to leadership positions. CCFT has a number of open positions right now . . . .”

So, stipends and release time are at an all time high.  Yet, that could not attract faculty to the EB to fill the empty positions.  And, now the EB is reluctant to make cuts.  Maybe they should realize that most faculty don’t need large stipends to do union work. They need to have a union they want to be involved with.
